Raison D’etre for PMsquare
As an organization, it has been an unending mission of ours to offer the best technologies paired with world-class services and proprietary solutions to meet the unique analytics needs of our clients. Yeah, that’s a mouthful of marketing words, but it does sum up the raison d’etre for PMsquare. We’re here to solve analytics problems and believe our approach is the best way to do so.
However, the funny thing about developing and offering packages in an industry that changes as frequently as analytics is that you need to change just as fast or faster. Certain things never go out of style, like true analytics thought leadership or a client-first organizational culture. Other things, though, like the very best way to deliver projects or the most efficient modality to implement technology do change.
We saw one of these changes coming a few short years ago.
Advancements So Fast, It’s Hard to Keep Up
There were two concurrent market forces driving industry change. The first was the rise in comfort with, and adoption of, cloud-hosted data, applications, and infrastructure. The second was the continued trend of organizations seeking internal analytics personnel to shift focus towards time analyzing the data as opposed to curating it.
These two factors were largely responsible for explosive growth in cloud-first ad-hoc data discovery tools, as well as resulting stalls in new content development on IT-driven enterprise-wide analytics tools.
Organizations were thrilled at how quickly they could derive insights and create content with the new tools, but all good parties come to an end at some point. Eventually, the content created from the new tool grew to an untenable size and needed to either adopt enterprise-level protocols for security, governance, and data integrity or move into the platform that could support it. Additionally, the shifting internal focus to support multiple analytics tools in addition to migrating to multiple clouds often resulted in shortages of internal bandwidth for the necessary care and feeding of environments.
The end result is a growing confluence of technology and infrastructure needs spreading IT organizations thin trying to support them.
MAS, The Modern Approach to Managing Analytics
In advance of this downstream impact, we at PMsquare, started developing an offering now known as Managed Analytics Services. The vision was to combine our global organizational reach (offices in: US, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, India) with our proven methodology to create a repeatable and scalable support arm for our customers’ unique needs.
Over the course of the last 3 years, we have implemented and hardened processes to seamlessly coordinate across our global team and deliver value to our customers. Over that time, we have expanded our supported technologies significantly as well, to the point where we now can support many front-end BI tools, major cloud providers, and data pipeline applications.
As we sit here today, PMsquare Global is proactively managing everything from server availability, to application upgrades, to content development, and even major migrations. Oftentimes, blending the expertise of our global team represents a cost-saving opportunity as well.
So, if you’re sitting there staring at your 2021 objectives that are obscured by the significant care and feeding off your existing technology stack, check out Managed Analytics Services and reach out to PMsquare.
