PMsquare Earns Two More IBM Champion Awards
Leading the Way
Each year IBM identifies a select group of thought leaders and innovators for their contributions to the global IBM community through the IBM Champion Program. Men and women from more than 30 countries are recognized for sharing their knowledge and expertise and helping to nurture and grow independent communities who leverage IBM solutions.
In 2019, nearly 2000 nominations were submitted and 635 individuals selected. Of the 635, only 222 new Champions were awarded. We are excited and proud to announce that two of our very own are among them: Ryan Dolley and Paul Mendelson.
About the IBM Champion Program
The IBM Champion program recognizes external experts and thought leaders for their work with IBM products and communities. The program supports advocates and experts across IBM in areas that include Blockchain, Cloud, Collaboration, Data & Analytics, Security, Storage, Power, Watson IoT, and IBM Z.
Our 2019 IBM Champions
Ryan Dolley
IBM Champion
Ryan is a thought leader in the implementation of IBMs analytics technologies, particularly IBM Cognos. With a focus on engaging technical and non-technical audiences alike, he has spoken at dozens of user groups and conferences to evangelize IBM, including at IBM Analytics University 2017 and 2018, and has delivered hundreds of private presentations to existing or prospective clients. Ryan’s philosophies on enabling self-service analytics using IBM have found success with many customers. Above all, Ryan focuses on helping clients get the most out of their investment in IBM by demystifying user adoption and sharing actionable techniques to build the Cognos brand within an organization.
Ryan is a vocal member of the Cognos community where he is giving with his time and expertise. He is the moderator of the Cognos subreddit (reddit.com/r/Cognos) and participates regularly on Cognoise.com and other Cognos watering holes. His blog ibmblueview.com is a well-known resource in the community, and his articles appear regularly in the PMsquare journal. He is committed to providing the IBM Cognos customer base with the absolute latest and best information regarding the product.
Paul Mendelson
IBM Champion
Paul is an avid blogger and senior solutions architect with exceptional knowledge and expertise working with IBM Cognos Analytics. Outside of IBM, Paul is widely considered to be the foremost authority on Cognos and is regarded internationally as a thought leader. His technical blog posts and technical articles are read and circulated in the hundreds of thousands. Paul shares his knowledge and perspectives via the PMsquare Journal and his personal blog cognospaul.com; as a technical training instructor, conference presenter, and as a panelist at data and analytics forums. Paul consistently contributes to the IBM Analytics community, serves as a moderator on Cognoise.com, the largest independent IBM Cognos collaboration community, and strives to respond to every request for help.
