What to Expect from IBM Think 2018

IBM is merging all of its major technology events into a first-of-its-kind conference and it’s almost here.  The IBM Think 2018 Conference is only a few weeks away (March 19 -22 in Las Vegas) and will be a gathering point for professionals from around the world to explore leading innovations in the world of business and technology.  This post will explore what you can expect at the Think 2018 Conference.

Why Think 2018?

IBM Think 2018 is intended to integrate content and solutions to better accommodate the evolving challenges that organizations face from a technological perspective.

What to Expect: Think 2018 Conference

A Lot of Walking

First of all, this event is going to be big.  Very big.  IBM is projecting 40,000+ attendees which is roughly triple the size of World of Watson 2016.  So make sure you pack comfortable shoes, and download the event app to help you navigate the many sessions and events.

Solution Campuses

Because of the scale of the event, IBM has created four central areas called Campuses to help you find your way.  Each Campus has a specific technology focus and will feature activities including sessions, networking events, expert talks, innovators, demonstrations, education, food and beverages, and more.  The four Campus focus areas are:

  1. Cloud and Data

  2. Modern Infrastructure

  3. Security and Resiliency

  4. Business and AI

Think 2018 is the destination to see what’s inside the labs for IBM analytics and cloud solutions.  At the Business and AI, and Cloud and Data  campuses you can join scores of sessions, presentations, technical labs, and more.  If you aren’t sure which sessions to attend, be sure to check out our top analytics session recommendations to help get you started.
