Overview

The Partner Sales Manager (PSM) – AWS Alliance Role is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic alliances with AWS and PMsquare strategic Cloud partners to drive joint revenue opportunities, enhance market presence, and achieve mutual business goals. This role requires expertise in cloud technologies, the AWS partner ecosystem, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive success.

 

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE WITH THE AWS ECOSYSTEM IN A SALES OR PARTNERSHIP CAPACITY IS A REQUIREMENT.

 

Compensation package includes base salary + commissions + bonuses based on performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Partners and AWS Alliance Management

  • Develop and execute joint business plans with Strategic Partners and AWS, focusing on revenue generation, go-to-market strategies, and solution alignment
  • Build strong relationships with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Solution Architects (SAs), and other AWS stakeholders
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and AWS, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives
  • Engage with Strategic Partners growth team on net new revenue streams

 

AWS-Specific Sales Enablement and Revenue Growth

  • Identify and drive joint sales opportunities with AWS through co-selling efforts
  • Collaborate with AWS sales teams to build and execute targeted account plans
  • Leverage AWS Marketplace and funding programs (e.g., AWS Partner Development Funds, Proof-of-Concept funding) to accelerate opportunities

 

AWS Partner Program Management

  • Ensure compliance with AWS Partner Network (APN) requirements and certifications
  • Drive participation in AWS programs, such as Competency, Service Delivery, and ISV Accelerate
  • Advocate for and secure AWS co-marketing funds to support joint campaigns and events

 

Go-to-Market Execution with AWS

  • Design and implement joint marketing campaigns, demand-generation initiatives, and events with AWS
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to develop AWS-optimized solutions and offerings
  • Ensure smooth execution of joint webinars, workshops, and AWS Summit participation

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to align AWS strategies with company objectives
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless solution integration and deployment on AWS
  • Act as the escalation point for AWS-related issues, driving timely resolution

 

Market Intelligence and Insights

  • Stay updated on AWS’s product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Provide insights on AWS incentives and funding programs to internal teams to maximize joint success

 

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure all joint activities comply with AWS and company policies, as well as legal and ethical guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of AWS agreements, co-sell activities, and performance metrics

 

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years in partner management, sales, or business development, with at least 2+ years managing alliances with AWS or other cloud providers
  • Proven experience working within the AWS Partner Network (APN) ecosystem

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of AWS services, solutions, and go-to-market models
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with AWS teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AWS Marketplace and funding programs
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
